A Perfect Place

Vasy Petros
A Perfect Place
Local Exhibition
April 2013

Vasy,

The perspective down from Bass Hills moved me the most.
Seeing this exhibition
Took me back to the days
driving tiny baby Edith through the hills,
up and over,
as she slept,
From Inverloch toward home.
Paul would slow down and say, ahhhh.

Your delicate hand is present and powerful in every piece!
Can't imagine how
You do it but spent a lot of time wondering!

  1. Washes the page

    Washes my face

    A

    Clear blue

    strikes
    The space.

    White
    White
    Space.

    What is light about this

    perfect place?

    vasy's work is mesmerising

    as ordinary everyday

    magazines and
    newspapers

    transform and
    reform
    back

into remnants of bush, sea and sky.

A meditative experience to be amongst her works.
